I like to slice it on a diagonal and brown it in some olive oil just for the color. I then toss it with roughly chopped potatoes, onions, and peppers. Sometimes for kicks I add mushrooms, celery and canned tomatoes to the mix. I then dump the concoction into a large baking dish and roast everything until the veggies are done. A little butter salt and pepper is all you need to finish it off. Enjoy!
My favorite way of preparing kielbasa is to cut it up in to bite sized circles and put it in a slow cooker with an equal portion of ketchup and grape jelly. It sounds gross but trust me, it is absolutely delicious! Kind of like a sweet and sour sauce. Enjoy!
You can 1) bake it with sauerkraut. 2) Slice it down the middle, stuff it with cheese, wrap it with bacon and bake until the bacon crisps. 3) Wrap it with puff pastry and bake. Always serve with pierogies!!! and a course ground mustard!!!!
cook it in a slow cooker with: Ketchup, brown sugar, and coke. It’s the best tastin’ BBQ sauce i’ve ever had. ( It’s also very good doing the lil’ smoked sausages like that, too.) You can also, Grill em’.
make some jumbolia! go to the store, and get the zaterans mix. it tastes great! and if you dont like it spicy, theres a cheese kind you can buy also.
I like to slice potatoes, dice some onions and fry together in olive oil and then slice the keilbasa in small pieces and lay on top of the potatoes and cover with a lid. They steam and get the onion taste as well. There you have a one pot meal!!
