Absolutely, I spent a semester studying and traveling in Germany and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
You will have a blast!
Gute Reise!
Go.
You so won’t regret spending the money.
My last semester of college I studied abroad. It was one of the best experiences of my life. It was worth every dime, franc, pound, mark, & schilling (they didn’t have euros yet).
You should do it. I didn’t go on my German trip in high school and I now regret it. Don’t make the same mistake I made.
Think of it this way, 20 years from now when you have a wife and a couple kids, and a 40 hour a week job, will you look back and say, wow I wish I went to Germany when I had the chance?
If the answer is yes then do it.
And why the heck is this in the politics section?
Go for it. If you don’t you’ll regret it later.
Well let me add a few other things to equation from what I learned when I stationed in Germany when I was in the Army.
One, drinking beer is legal at age 16. Drinking hard alcohol is legal at age 18. Prostitution is legal in Germany.
Octoberfest.
The Love Parade.
And that’s not including all the historical sights and different culture you will get to experience.
Of course your missing a couple of my favorite destinations in Europe in your trip, namely Amsterdam and Prague (of course it’s only three weeks, so there is only so much you can do). Netherless, I would definitely do it if I were you. It’s potentially an experience you’ll treasure for the rest of your life.
Do it. You will not regret it, but you will regret not doing it later.
I had a similar opportunity when I was your age and passed on it, now 30 years later I still get mad at myself for being so foolish.
