I visited Krakow in March and booked the flights through easyjet. I also followed their link to book a hotel. The whole package was about £180 for two of us for four nights. We did book well in advance for the flights though and the hotel at last minute.
Be careful when booking the hotel as their standards are nowhere near the same as in this country, we were really disappointed. Also, to us it appeared that the Polish people just wanted to fleece us of money all the time, the train conductor wanted to arrest us and charge us about £75 because we got on the wrong train by mistake. Also the hotel staff tried to get us to pay an invented city tax, I suppose to line their pockets.
I am not trying to put you off, just hoping it will keep your eyes open!! Visit Auschwitz if you can, but not by a scheduled tour, it is a very sobering experience but memorable. All said about our trip, I would go again but I would keep MY eyes open this time!!!!
