Not really sure but i would be keen to find this out too!!!!!!
try the ‘canine club’
the doggy people they will have a list of hotels that are dog friendly.
some allow you to keep you dog in your room, while others will have an outside compound.
Check out the websites for hotels along your proposed route in advance so you can find pet-friendly hotels.
I’ve found that Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels will generally take a small dog, wherever you go.
There are pet lovers and pet haters everywhere, you’ll just have to recognise them for what they are and enjoy the good experiences.
I would suggest an internet search for ‘places to stay in France (or other) that accept pets’.
maybe this helps a little
but make sure that you see a vet before you go back to UK because i think you need a tita Test against rabies to enter UK again .. have a nice trip

Don’t know much about europe but my mom in the US took her dog all over to Canada and Mexico. Folks were really nice and helpful. She did lots of research first to make sure the places they visited were pet-friendly though. She also made sure to be clear on travelling restrictions and vaccinations before she went. Good luck!
You will find Europe more dog friendly than the UK! There are many hotels that will accept him but some charge a small fee for the extra cleaning that they risk - make sure you check before you book.
On trains in some countries, you will have to buy a seperate ticket for your dog and he will have a reserved seat - but you must provide a blanket for him to sit on. Most of the countries you list above have an English version of their website so you can check out the details there.
Have a fabulous time! You’ll enjoy it even more because you have him with you.
