but another really good website is TEFL.com which gives you average living costs for everywhere in the world, it is supposed to help people decide where to teach in the world but also a really good resource for what you are looking for

Just back from Poland & we were getting 5.43 Zloty’s to the £. A really good hotel cost uss the equivalent of £30 a night or thereabouts.
