don’t go in your own car….they will pinch it 110%
We went to Gdansk last year and really liked it. It has a very pretty old town (amazingly rebuilt from rubble after WWII), interesting museums, some nice churches to visit, boat rides, lots of amber to buy. I would recommend a visit. We stayed in a beautiful little guest house on one of the prettiest streets in Gdansk (Mariacka), and it is supposedly the oldest house in Gdansk - it’s called Gotyk House -
Gdansk is really nice, though I can’t remember the name of the hotel we stayed in. Look on one of the travel websites eg Tripadvisor for more info. If you want a more beachy place try Sopot.
It is a great place for relaxing and you can try some delicious food - especially fish!
Gdansk is great for visiting, but for relaxation I recommend Sopot - it’s between Gdansk and Gdynia. As for the place to stay I recommend this one - - less than 100 metres to the sea
