Yeah, right, no elevators….. very droll!
Suites are uncommon in German city hotels, since real estate is so expensive that every square metre counts. So rooms tend to be small and purpose-built.
The term “Juniorsuite” usually means that it is only one room, just slightly larger than a “normal” one.
The French term “Suite” is commonly used in German to describe expensive luxury hotel rooms - no guarantee for more than one bed-room.
If you ring enough hotels, and describe that you are looking for two bedrooms with a connecting door, you might eventually find a hotel that has something for you. But it would be easier to just get a double and a single that lie next to each other (request that specifically and have it confirmed in writing), without connecting door, if you think your son is old enough for that.
If you insist on a connecting door, I suggest that you contact the Munich tourist information and let them do the search:
Alternatively, Munich tourist information also seems to offer to get you access to privately owned apartments. So no hotel, but self-catering and all that; but you might get 2 bedrooms that way…
All good hotels (4 and 5 stars) in Poland have suites. I guess it’s the same in Germany.
But Brenna in Poland is a small town so you won’t find one.
