It won’t work if it’s only for one country. You’ll need a pass that covers Czech. and Poland. If that’s the only trip you’re making, you’d come out better just buying a point to point ticket. If you’re planning to travel a lot in Poland, you could get a Poland pass and pay the difference from Prague to the Polish border before you get on the train. International trains usually require a reservation so you can’t just go get on like you could in the past. You may need to pay extra for a reservation (not much) in some countries, and pay extra for a couchette if you want to sleep well on an overnight train.
YOu may consider and Eastern Europe pass, covering Poland, Czech, Slovakia,.Hungary and Austria for $220
Or just a one way will cost about $115 (first class) with a couchette. I checked Aprill 11th and 2nd class wasn’t available. Check another date and may be cheaper.
A 5-day Poland pass costs $126 2nd class. You could ask in Prague how much extra to pay to the border when you reserve the train to Krakow, but get your Eurail pass validated before getting on the train.
