Bottled water is either mineral water, meaning it came from un underground source, or its purified municiple water. Every lable states where the water came from.
But to answer your question literally, if water is in a bottle, than yet, it is real bottled water.

Anything that says “spring water” is from a natural spring source. The bottle will list the actual source.
Small convenience stores and beverage machines tend to carry the waters bottled by the big soda distributors, like Coke and Pepsi. These waters are purified tap water and are mass produced and distributed.
A larger store will carry a wider variety of bottled waters, and some of them will say “spring water”. The brands and source vary by region, but you’ll find them. In the north east (Mass), my favorite tasting spring water is Danon. Much better than Poland Springs. CVS’s brand of spring water is pretty good too, but that only applies to the that general area of the country. CVS spring water in other regions will be from different sources, if available at all.
BTW, “mineral water” is not the same as spring water. It is water from a spring that happens to have very high mineral deposits. Not all spring water is mineral water.
Deer Park, Dakani, there are dozens of brands of true bottled water along with many international type brands. But if you live in NYC, that the best H2O that comes straight from the faucet!
