it all depend. because if you will work i n not Polish company your life will be really cheap. Flat….for example 60 sq meters cost about 600 zł per month but you can find chaper or more expensive. Food also per month is about 1000 -1200 zl for 2 people. I think all will bo about 2000 zl.
160 pounds sterling or 330 dollars or 1000zl per month would rent a comfortable 2 bedroom flat in a large city. In the countryside the same price for a house.
Don’t rent a cheap flat as you will become an object of amusement for the whole neighbourhood - some kind of security is a good idea. Poland isn’t a friendly country for foreigners - ignore my warning and you may regret it later.
go to you can get all kind of accommodation there.
I know the prices in Warsaw -it’s the most expensive city in Poland.
You asking about apartments, so it’s something about 50 m2 and more, so it will from 400$ to 1000$(in the center).
But you can also rent something smaller and it will cost from 250$ - 400$. Just for information - 1,00$=about 3,00 polish zloty.
The most important information is that most of apartments and flats are for rent by agencies, so you will have to pay them. Mostly it is an equivalent of 1payment. And sometimes you will have to pay a deposit = 1 or more payments. Of course you can negotiate, but it’s better to know that.
I wish you a good luck.
