Look up some of the places near Szczecin, such as Międzywodzie, Dziwnów, Miedzyzdroje. The only problem is that most options, except for hotels, close for fall and winter, so you would have to call every place and ask. A good places locator is available at:
Unfortunately, only in Polish.
Witeczek was right. Look up places near Szczecin, maybe by Gdansk. And like he said, in the fall and winter some places are usually closed, and going to only a Beach and Summer spot would be a bad idea. If you really want to go to the Baltic coast, I would reccomend a larger city so you have more activities you can do, and you can have more fun. I would say Szczecin, maybe Gdansk. Look up some major cities and attractions and what you would like to do. Going to a summer spot where you mostly have the beach would be bad because there is nothing to do there during the fall and winter. Go to a bigger city to visit places, tourist attractions, rent a car and travel around the area and you’ll have more fun. Hope this helps.
I’d suggest Sopot–”Summer capital of Poland”
Good luck.

If you want peace and quiet, I would recommend Hel Peninsula, especially Jurata, Jastarnia and Hel (I just love those places even when they get little busy;)). Unfortunately, most places are closed after summer (that’s why is so calm then;)), so I don’t know if you could find a cottage to rent, probably you’re gonna have to stay at the hotel, if one of you speak polish you could check some prices here: . It could be also very cold by the Baltic Sea at this time. Oh, but it’s not close to Germany, because it’s the furthest point of Poland
But it’s still worth seeing! If you would be really interested, you can write your email and I promise to try to find some nice places to stay there.
