not in any wide scale assualt, not that i can find. Poland had dropped out of existence as a political sovereignity for a long time untill approximately 1918, when it was restored and given a direct path through to the north sea, bisecting former Prussian land. At that point Poland became a country again, and is generally where I would begin researching the events of what is the modern Poland.
There were definitely disturbances on the Polish borders, as Nazi Germany was pushing the ethnic issues hard to provide an excuse for invasion “to rescue Danzig”. I do not know if there were any military deaths before the actual invasion. You should probably consult a Polish historian?
Depends how far back you go. In 1772, 1793 and 1795, Poland was gobbled up by Austria, Prussia, and Russia. It was briefly revived by Napoleon, but absorbed by Russia for another century until the end of WWI. Even after that, during the subsequent Russian Civil War, the Red Army invaded Poland but was defeated in 1920 (give or take a year).
No not really, because Poland was not an official country until after the first World War when its provinces were divided between Germany and Russia. That was why the Nazi’s and Russians agreed to allow the invasion of Poland while Russia was attacking Finland.
It took Herr Hitler a whole year about to betray the Russians and launch their next great assault operation Barbarossa, the invasion of Russia. so before WWII the only time that area was at war was in the first WW.
Poland became Poland not after WW1 but in the middle-ages in 966. After WW1 Poland recovered all its territories which had been STOLEN by Prussia, Russia and Austria at the and of XVIII. In the 1920 Polish army kicked Soviet a***s . Learn history carefully IGNORANTS.

Throughout centuries,Poland served as a corridor of European invasions. Of course, blood was shed throughout history.
Poland has been the stomping ground for so many countries in Europe I can’t keep track of them.
Poland became Poland after WW1. But i remember something about a radio station being blown up by the Nazis in 1938
