When I traveled in Europe I always thought buying a hand crafted item from a street vendor had the most personality.

i like the polish chocolates..they taste good and it’s not too sweet.

At these temperatures, chocolates might not be a good idea. But if you insist, get “Ptasie mleczko” by Wedel - these are rectangular chocolates with agar filling. Delicious!
Otherwise, traditional souvenirs include crystal vases, plates or figurines; amber jewelry; leather bags or wallets; linen tablecloths; pottery. Generally - buy anything you like, only make sure it’s less than fifty years old, otherwise you may have problems at the Customs office.

I am from Poland. We have many beautiful wood carvings, and the sweets and bread is great. We also have a lot of pottery. In Poland the best sweets are from Wedel.

If you want to buy chocolates, Wedel is definitely the best brand. Apart from that, I suggest buying amber, crystals, embroidered table linen, crockery (esp. Boleslawiec - blue and white patterns) and wood carvings.

Wedel Chocolate, Merci is also good, they look like one pieced Kit Kats, flavored Vodka is the best, pottery is also nice, but i woul;d go for a polish throw or something with polands colors,
