I don`t talk in English with anybody and it`s just occured to me that I wasted all that time on learning the language. Moreover,I`m not going to move to the place where I`m not welcomed(UK)To be honest I`ve taken up my study in the hope of settling there some day.Shall I keep it up?What do you think?

It’s not necessary, but that doesn’t make it useless. What makes you think you cannot move to the UK (or Canada, or the United States)? Just a few bad experiences with people does not mean everyone is like that.
If you enjoy studying it, then you should keep it up. But if you find no love in doing it, then you may as well quit.
Why dont you take up study in your own country and give Poland something back or do you just want a quick fix , why give the UK your talents ?
I think you should….now I am in a good place because I decided to learn more languages other than English….now I can speak at least 20 different languages and dialects….even if you don’t end up settling there, at least you can also communicate with other people and have a great future/ occupation
It’s not that people in England don’t welcome the Polish. If you have a skill which the country needs then you are more than welcome to come. I think the problem that the English have is huge influx of Polish and other Eastern European people who come to country, take lower wages to get a job and then they end up with higher British unemployment figures. If you have a qualification in a desirable field most countries would take you. Why do you want to live in England? There are so many ethnic majorities here now it’s not really like it use to be. Why England but not Germany or France… they all speak English nower days anyway.
Hello my friend - I’m British - I rent my spare rooms to 4 polish people Ewa, Dana, Ewa and Robert - I truly hope that they feel very welcome ! As for English - it has, for better or worse, become an international language so it can’t be a bad thing !
When in Rome do as the Romans Do. In order to communicate within Europe in this day and age English is essential. When dealing with your own people speak your Mother tongue. If you can’t speak the language of the country you are living in life becomes miserable, you will be isolated from the mainstream.
