i heard of it happening in poland but i haven’t heard about it in england. surely the RSPCA wouldn’t allow it and if it was reported to them it would be dealt with. in poland horses have been known to kill each other in small cages as they are fighting for space, food, and water it is cruel.

It is possible that they a mares and their urine is used in some tablets for hormone replacement therapy.

It’s sad, but true. People have got to learn to stand up and fight it!

I am from Poland. And well it does happen. And, it makes me sad. There are also alot of slaughter houses in Poland!
People who use horses on farms out side of town usually sell them to slaughter houses once they get too old, because no one else would buy them.

Anything is possible. And I’m sure if they are kept in cages, without much room etc., they probably kill to survive. I’m sure you could look that up on the net somewhere, maybe in wikepedia?

I’ve never heard that, but if it’s true, I hate the stupid idiots who would EVER think about dong that to an animal that helped us. If it weren’t for horses, civilization wouldn’t be possible.

Thats Awful!! I can’t believe that people keep horses like that, and how people can’t belive that horses are living, breathing and feeling animals
